Don’t stay at home felling lonely and isolated! Get out more and attend a Day Centre!
Meet up with former friends, relatives, make new friends and get support by qualified and caring staff.
The Day Centre is for any elderly person. You will have a healthier wellbeing and enjoy a life style by attending a day centre.
To attend, simple call in, phone or email to find out how you can attend. Anyone can refer an elderly person; your friends or family members can refer you.
Also you can ask your doctor or other support agency to refer you.
Where you have a carer funded by social service you may also be able to get help from the local council to attend a day centre.
Ask your carer and social worker to refer you!
Contact Southwark Council by phoning 0207 525 5000 (ask for Adult Service) and ask about “Personal Budget” for older people to see if you are entitled to financial help for health and social care support.
